The all-new Suhr Oso started as a fresh take on the classic short-scale T but evolved into something uniquely its own. Inspired by the simple, raw character of some of John’s first guitars and the captivating vibe of the Aura, John designed the Oso to blend old-school charm with modern precision.
John loved the balance of the 3x3 tuning gear layout originally designed for the Suhr Aura, paired with a slight headstock angle, creating a look and feel that’s timeless. The body and headstock were designed as a cohesive team, flowing seamlessly together to honor tradition while carving a bold new path. Blind fret ends on every Oso are precision-milled for a seamless playing experience—no sharp edges, no distractions. Just pure, effortless comfort from every angle.
With its effortless bends, enhanced playability, looser feel and compact fret spacing, the Suhr Oso delivers a more accessible playing experience with unmatched tone & style. Whether you’re digging into gritty riffs or chasing dynamic leads, Oso is built to inspire every step of the way.
