Description
Hand built here in Canberra, Australia. FORGE is a versatile and tweakable vintage voiced fuzz!
Forge is a silicon based fuzz with loads of control and range. It’s based on a modified Tonebender circuit with metal can silicon transistors. You can adjust the bias for gated spitty, classic ripping fuzz tones or a broken spluttering mess if that’s your thing! These are hand made and assembled in small runs using through hole components and are true bypass for those that care about these things.
Controls:
Attack - Fuzz / Gain amount
Level - Volume / Output amount (start low, this pedal can be loud!)
Bias - Circuit bias, adjust to taste. Low settings give more vintage sounds, high settings give more velcro / gated fuzz tones.
Heft - Low pass filter at input stage, turn up to allow more bass through the circuit. Fully counter clockwise will cut lows for more definition.
Tone - tone control to tame high frequency content, counter clockwise cuts more high frequencies, clockwise allows more through to output stage.
Please note - this pedal runs on standard 9v DC (centre negative) power supply only, not included. Recommended would be Boss PSA240 or equivalent isolated pedal board supply.
