Fantastic machine. As I haven't used a Kurzweil before and am used to Roland and Waldorf workflows, this one is a steep curve for me. A bit impenetrable at first, but the software editor that comes for free makes that a heap easier, I highly recommend downloading it from the get go as the workflows are much easier to understand on the big screen if you're new to Kurzweil's setup like me.
The sound of each engine is fantastic, and I was surprised that there are a tonne of useable presets, which I am not used to. There isn't a glut of bland commercial sounds either, unlike some alternatives I did consider from Korg/Roland/Yamaha. All in all, very impressed.
