At its core, the SG Supreme combines a plain maple top with a mahogany body, presented without a pickguard for a smooth, contemporary look. A mahogany neck with a fast SlimTaper™ profile is paired with an ebony fretboard featuring a 10”–16” compound radius, delivering comfort for first-position chords and effortless bends higher up the neck. Twenty-four medium jumbo frets provide expanded range, while Super Split Block mother-of-pearl inlays add a refined aesthetic. The headstock showcases a newly developed mother-of-pearl “Chandelier Inlay,” inspired by an original 1940s design uncovered in the Gibson archives.

Locking Grover® tuners with Keystone buttons, working alongside a Graph Tech® nut, ensure exceptional tuning stability, while the aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece contribute to precise intonation and strong sustain.
