The Distressed Black Edition of the Chris Chaney Bass is limited to 10 pieces per year.
This bass is made using a complex and sophisticated ageing process that also involves a tone treatment, where we send a special set of frequencies through the bass. This is a days long process that makes this brand new bass feel like it has been played for decades.
During his time with Jane's Addiction and while currently on tour with AC/DC, Chris Chaney is continuously proving to be the deep rhythm power-house every band needs. This long-scale solid Alder body Alliance Series is packed with innovative features like our new Grand Duplex Bass Pickups and large anodized aluminium pickguard, all while retaining a sleek and elegant package.
Custom laser-etched control knobs and neck plate, as well as custom fretboard inlays at the 12th fret make this a truly unique low-frequency workhorse. It comes in three finishes, Black, Gold-Sparkle and a stunning Distressed Black.
The included Duesenberg "Custom Line Bag" is the ideal companion for the active urban musician.
Lightweight, yet extremely good at protecting your instrument, this bag has got you covered on the way to your next rehearsal or gig. The internal padding provides high impact protection and the tuck away shoulder straps allow you to use this bag like a case whenever you see fit.
