D'Addario XL Chromes Flatwound Electric String Set - 13-56

I usually play 10-46 or 9-42 strings. I recently had 10-52 strings on my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, and wanted a jazzier tone and wanted to try 13-56 strings just because of what I had heard that some jazz guitarists use them. I was afraid that they wouldn’t fit in the nut, but they did, and my neck also didn’t break from the tension in standard tuning. The action didn’t really change much, and I only adjusted it a little to where it was a low as I could have it. They feel smooth, the sustain is long and the output is higher of course. Bending on the higher strings is difficult of course, but not nearly as difficult as I imagined. I’m considering higher gauge strings for standard tuning in the future!
