The St. James 100 head and combo indicate a groundbreaking evolution in valve amplification. These amplifiers are one of our most ambitious projects, painstakingly developed over many years to deliver unmatched valve amplifier performance, finished in an exquisite new look. Continuing the legacy of the St. James series, the St. James 100 head is the world’s lightest 100 Watt valve head, and the St. James 100 combo coming in as the world’s lightest 100 Watt 2x12" valve combo blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. The St. James 100’s boast a range of innovative and unique features without compromise.

Switchable/Mixable Power Valve Configuration: The amplifier comes equipped with two distinct power valve types: 2x 6L6 and 2x EL34. With a front-panel switch, you can toggle between these power stages in 50-Watt mode or combine all four power valves for the full 100-Watt experience, offering unmatched versatility in sound.

Patent-Applied-For “Cut” Selector: For the first time, Blackstar introduces a switchable “Cut” selector. This patent-applied-for three-position selector allows you to fine tune the amplifier’s higher, harsher frequencies. This customisation lets you shape the amplifier’s overall sound to perfectly match your preferences from an aggressive, extended high-end to a warm, vintage sound.

4 Channels, 6 Modes: The St. James 100 is the ultimate amplifier for tonal flexibility oferring 4 channels and 6 modes (Clean, Crunch, Crunch w/ Boost, OD 1, OD 2 and OD 2 Tight).

Advanced Connectivity and Tone Controls: The St. James 100 head includes a built-in reactive load and Blackstar’s IR based CabRig technology, providing professionaldirect tones for both live performances and recording sessions. The amp also features a switchable effects loop (Series or Parallel) and an adjustable +2 - +6dB Solo boost which is controlled via the included 6-way footswitch.

Celestion Zephyr Speakers (combo only): Developed exclusively for Blackstar, these speakers are based off Vintage 30’s but with a heap of weight shaved off whilst managing to still use traditional magnets – not neodymium.

6 Way Footswitch Included: Giving the ability to switch between all 4 channels, all 6 voices, toggle the Boost function on/off and switch the Reverb on/off.

MIDI Enabled: Integrates seamlessly into professional rigs, with MIDI switching of all footswitchable features for flexible control solutions.
