M5 is a compact and easy-to-use wireless microphone system designed for stage performance, hosting, teaching, livestreaming and portable public address applications. It features one auto-sync channel and six fixed channels (Channels 1–6) for flexible use in single or multi-system setups. M5 offers seven channel options: Channel 0 (Auto Mode) and six fixed-frequency channels (1-6). Your set will connect in Auto Mode by default—but you can use any fixed-frequency channel by setting the Transmitter and Receiver to the same channel (1-6). Channel 0 automatically scans the local RF environment and selects available frequencies to help maintain a stable wireless connection. For typical single-set use, Channel 0 is recommended.
After wirelessly linking the units, connect the M5 Receiver to your audio device. Plug the Receiver directly into an XLR mic input on your device (mixer, powered speaker, audio interface). This is the simplest and most common setup. To send a signal from one Microphone/Transmitter to multiple Receivers, select one of the fixed-frequency channels (1–6) and set the Transmitter and all Receivers to the same channel. After wirelessly linking the units, connect the M5 Receiver to your audio device. Plug the Receiver directly into an XLR mic input on your device (mixer, powered speaker, audio interface). This is the simplest and most common setup.
Using fixed-frequency channels (1–6), you can use up to six M5 systems simultaneously in the same area, with one system per fixed channel. And/or, you can use up to five factory pre-paired systems using Auto Mode (Channel 0)—each system operating as a one-to-one paired Transmitter and Receiver. The limits above do not restrict the ability of a single Transmitter to connect to multiple Receivers using fixed-frequency channels. The M5 Receiver connects to a female XLR input only, ready to connect directly into an XLR mic input on your mixer or interface. However, the included XLR-to-6.35 mm (1/4”) adapter also allows you to connect to 1/4” inputs on powered speakers or amplifiers! The M5 System comes in a durable carry case and includes the Microphone/Transmitter, Receiver, XLR-1/4” adapter, USB charging cable, and user manual.
