Made in Germany from matured alpine maple and resin-lined for maximum stability, the Schreiber S16 bassoon is extremely popular for school bassoonists and advancing players alike.
The S16 has complete semi-professional, silver plated keywork with 25 keys including a high D key, Whisper key lock, second ring finger Bb key, C# trill key for the left hand index finger, 4 rollers (F, Ab, C# and Eb), and 2 bocals (KER1 & 2). The S16 - BHHE includes a Balance Hanger and High E key.
This Schreiber bassoon with its excellent intonation and wonderful sound offers the musician the best possibilities for further development.
