Description
The classic distortion circuit everyone knows, so it should go without saying what the original is! Hand built in Canberra.
The circuit is stock except for a toggle switch to allow for 3 different clipping options. STD is the original silicon diode hard clipping, LED is the "turbo" variant using 2 red LEDs for hard clipping and MOD is a double stack of silicon diodes for slightly less compression and a more open sound.
For those that might ask, these use the OP07 opamp and sound great. True bypass switching and runs on standard 9v DC (centre negative) power.
