Was shopping for a lightweight, ergonomic guitar for gigging and in my research, this one came up. I ended up purchasing one and my example weighs in at just 2.05kgs.
Having never owned a multi scale instrument , my initial thought was that it would take a bit of time to get used to it , though pleasantly, it took all of 5 minutes, fingers just seem to fall naturally into position and after that, it's not even a thing to contend with.
Features like the roasted maple neck and stainless frets, these are what I would describe as medium jumbo, ensure a very smooth and stable playing experience. The luminlay side fretboard markets make a big difference in dark environments allowing the player to get a good visual reference for playing.
As other reviews have noted, the pickups in this guitar are more of a low output type, so in stock form, they mightn't be to taste for the heavier, prog crowd though they are perfectly usable for most styles. A 5 way super switch allows for a series/ parallel switching system, so the range of tones on offer covers a lot of sonic ground.
Well built, lightweight, easy playability and decent sounds take this guitar beyond the realm of travel style instruments and provides instead a great gigging and recording solution without the size and weight of more traditional guitars.
Highly recommended.
