Description
The Prodige BC4062 oboe features important technical, aesthetic and acoustic improvements that allow beginners and experienced enthusiasts to progress quickly. With a full conservatory system, the Prodige BC4062 offers multiple alternate fingerings and extended playability with stunning silver-plated keywork, including a left-hand F lever, double G# and Eb keys, trill keys and a Bb resonance key for better tuning and tone quality. It has three semi-automatic octave keys, making upper range playing a breeze.
The Buffet Crampon Prodige boasts a grenadilla wood body and bell, which provides a beautiful, full-bodied tone befitting any advancing student or enthusiast. The Luracast resin bore lining reduces the risk of splitting, preserving the sound quality of the African blackwood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon). The Prodige Conservatoire Oboe allows for smooth transitions from one octave to another, helping students control their air and create a sound which comes very close to that of a professional instrument.
Manufactured in Buffet Crampon's German workshops, the Prodige is perfect for advancing players.
