Yamaha DTX452K PLUS Electronic Drum Kit w/Sticks + Stool + Headphones!

My main reason for purchasing this kit was because it was known to be compatible with dtxmania.
Overall the adjustments you can make to pad height and angle are reasonable for this price of kit.
If you are looking for a quieter kit you may want to avoid this particular kit variant because the bass drum beater does make a fair bit of percussive noise with its default beater attachment.
I'm sure that I could deaden this a bit by putting a softer spongier beater head on it.
After using this for a while the biggest bit of feedback I have is for tall people who might be interested in this kit.
If you have long legs and use a drum throne of regular height you may find that your hands hit your lap when you strike the snare pad.
I would have appreciated slightly taller vertical tubes for the arms that come off the main rack so that you could have more control over the height of the snare.
The other thing to bear in mind is the symbols have a fixed mounting position off the edges of the main part of the rack and there are no included brackets so he can mount them on other parts of the drum rack.
With those minor quibbles aside, the price for this all inclusive drum kit and accessories is great and would be perfect for a person of medium height or a younger child.

Great kit, the only downside is the headphones are pretty flimsy but otherwise bang for buck it's just awesome.

Really happy with this purchase for my child who is just beginning to learn drums.

Excellent drum kit for my son to practise on between lessons. Fits easily into a small space and extremely noise friendly to the shift worker!!
