羊文学 (Hitsujibungaku) is a Japanese indie rock band known for their dreamy, melancholic sound and emotionally resonant lyrics. Their music blends elements of shoegaze, alternative rock, and J-pop, creating a unique atmosphere that feels both ethereal and powerful. Hitsujibungaku gained wider recognition with albums like “our hope” (2022) and “12 hugs (like butterflies)” (2023), which has been featured in anime and commercials, further cementing their place in Japan’s contemporary rock scene. Lead vocalist and guitarist Moeka Shiotsuka’s delicate yet expressive voice is a defining feature, often floating over lush, reverb-soaked guitars and dynamic rhythms.

Moeka’s signature Jaguar® has been designed based on the American Vintage ’65 Jaguar® that has cherished for years, faithfully reproducing her unique preferences. The guitar features Aged Sonic Blue, and the use of water slide decals enhances its vintage aesthetics.

The bound “C”-shape neck with medium jumbo frets allows for smooth playability requiring the smallest effort for fretting notes. Additionally, the combination of brass spiral saddles and custom pickups developed exclusively for this model delivers Moeka’s signature crisp clean tones with enhanced warmth. Even when driven, the sound remains well-defined and articulate, faithfully recreating her distinctive guitar tone.

The Moeka Shiotsuka Jaguar comes with a neck plate engraved with her signature, and the 4th-string tuning peg features a butterfly engraving, embodying her wish that the 4th string may never snap - an issue Moeka had been battling with her past guitars.

As a special addition, the guitar includes a “moni” original sticker, based on the one she personally applies to secure the preset switch. Every detail of this exceptional instrument reflects Moeka Shiotsuka’s personal touch and dedication.
