What are the shipping rates?
We offer free shipping on most items to metro areas in ACT, NSW, VIC, and QLD. If you are in a regional area we do offer great shipping rates, though it is often too expensive for us to offer free shipping.
You can calculate shipping costs in the checkout and on item pages with your postcode.
Orders under $50 incur a minimum order fee to cover shipping.
Standard vs Express Shipping
Our shipping platform will automatically determine and display the Express or Standard shipping options that are available to you. If Express is not displaying, you're either located too far away from our store in Canberra, or the Standard shipping option will get it to you just as fast for the same price. Express shipping is 1-5 days, Standard 2-10 days depending on how far you are away from our store in Canberra.

On weekends our online team may not be operating. Either give us a call monday morning or reply to your order email and we will endeavour to stop goods leaving the store.

Do we ship our electric guitars Australia-wide?
Yes, we deliver Australia-wide! All our electric guitars are sent straight to your door with insured delivery and protection. All our guitars are inspected and set up before they leave the store so they are ready to play on arrival. All electric guitars over $500 are double boxed in a custom-made Better Music box to ensure your order is delivered with zero damage.
What happens if my guitar is damaged in transit?
The likelihood of your guitar being damaged in transit is extremely low, as our electric guitars are double boxed in special Better Music guitar boxes to make sure they travel as safely as possible. If you suspect that your electric guitar is damaged, DO NOT sign for a package. Signing for an item means it has been received in good order, and any damage is no longer the courier's responsibility. If your electric guitar is damaged, you must call us (02 6282 3199) or email us (sales@bettermusic.com.au) to notify us within 24 hours. So we can help you best, please include your name, address, items ordered and a brief description of the apparent damage. All items will be assessed by us on a case-by-case basis.
