What are the shipping rates?

We offer free shipping on most items to metro areas in ACT, NSW, VIC, and QLD. If you are in a regional area we do offer great shipping rates, though it is often too expensive for us to offer free shipping. You can calculate shipping costs in the checkout and on item pages with your postcode.
Orders under $50 incur a minimum order fee to cover shipping.

Standard vs Express Shipping

Our shipping platform will automatically determine and display the Express or Standard shipping options that are available to you. If Express is not displaying, you're either located too far away from our store in Canberra, or the Standard shipping option will get it to you just as fast for the same price. Express shipping is 1-5 days, Standard 2-10 days depending on how far you are away from our store in Canberra.

What payment methods do you offer?

We offer secure checkout options like Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Zip Pay and Bank Deposit.

The legendary synthesizer technology of the Waldorf Quantum - now with new features.

As with the Iridium Keyboard, the Quantum MK2 now features a new FATAR TP/8SK keyboard with 61 semi-weighted velocity-sensitive keys and polyphonic aftertouch.
While with monophonic aftertouch the modulation affects all played tones equally, polyphonic aftertouch offers targeted, individual control of individual notes.

For example, the behavior of the envelope curves or the pitch of the oscillators can be modulated very sensitively, which offers the player completely new possibilities of expression.

The internal flash memory has also been expanded. The Quantum MK2 now has 59GB available for sample management.

The flexibility emanating from the Quantum's powerful oscillators and how they interact with one another is simply breathtaking. Never before has it been possible to create such a wide range of sounds with a synthesizer. It ranges from classic analog sounds with precise sample playback to harsh or animated digital sounds to sound and sequence clusters that are otherwise only possible with large modular synthesizer systems or modern plug-ins.

The 3 oscillators each offer five synthesis forms:

The typical Waldorf wavetables are supplemented by the strengths of our Nave synthesizer: speech synthesis and the creation of wavetables from external audio sources
Classic synthesizer waveforms with up to 8 detuned and chordal copies for ultra-fat sounds straight from the oscillator
Granular sampler with multi-sampling and traditional sampling mode
Resonator filter bank with multi-sampling or click/noise stimulator for innovative and intuitive sound design
New kernel synthesis with up to six kernel operators per oscillator for phase FM, true FM and wavetable position modulation
Quantum's ergonomic and intuitive control panel supports an artist's workflow with an unprecedented elegance. The carefully selected arrangement of aluminum pots and encoders frame a high-resolution multi-touch display. The Waldorf paid special attention to perfecting the interaction between the display and the physical controls.

In order to clarify the functional relationships between the individual controllers, all important controllers are individually illuminated by a multicolored LED. With complex settings and modulation assignments, it is immediately apparent where parameters can be adjusted quickly and efficiently. With the help of the central touch display, precise settings can be made with ease, similar to using a modern computer tablet.

Quantum was designed and developed by our dedicated team in Germany. All essential components are manufactured here in Germany and assembled in Italy. This allows us to manufacture Quantum with an unparalleled build quality.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank a number of world class sound designers who have contributed to a diverse factory sound set:

Richard Devine, Howard Scarr, Reinhold Heil, BT, Matt Johnson, Joerg Huettner, Kevin Schroeder, Sascha Dikiciyan, Kurt Ader, Mike Huckaby, Thorsten Quaeschning and many more
