Piano Stools & Benches
How is a piano stool different from a regular stool?
A piano stool is a type of stool specifically designed for use with a piano or keyboard. It is typically taller than a regular stool, with a round or oval seat that is adjustable in height. The seat is usually padded and upholstered, and the legs are often curved or angled to provide stability and comfort when playing.
How do you know if a piano bench or stool is the right height for you?
The height of a piano stool is important because it needs to be adjusted to the height of the player. When it comes to choosing the right piano stool or bench for you, there are several factors to consider. The first is your height. The ideal piano stool should be at a height that allows you to comfortably reach the keys without having to strain your back or shoulders. Generally, a stool that is around 18-20 inches off the ground should be suitable for most people. If you are taller than average, you may need a stool that is a bit higher.
