    Nothing wrong with Maton. They're up there with the best.

    Can't say anything nice about the electrics though.

    But the electrics weren't what I bought it for. After twenty odd years, the electrics were stuffed.

    But they weren't used in all that time. Some sort of QC problem? It's going to cost me about five to six hundred dollars to replace the electrics. But that's a better solution than buying a cheap replacement - it seems that twenty-five hundred dollars will be what will cost me to buy a fully functional piece of crap.

    Tone-wise and for intonation accuracy, the EA80 stands up pretty well against the Martin.

    I wouldn't sell either of them. Too much of a hard choice.
