As I’m sure you’re acutely aware, the COVID-19 situation is ever evolving and effecting everyday life. We hope that you are safe, healthy and potentially have some spare time to make more music! Here at Better Music we will continue to monitor and adhere to Australian Government & World Health Organisation advice as required, and we’re taking extra precautions to keep operating as normal.
PLEASE NOTE - We are working extremely hard to keep up with the very high demand for musical instruments during this time of COVID-19. We are doing our best to get orders processed and new gear out to people as quickly as possible. We apologise for the delays in advance, your patience and understanding at this time is greatly appreciated. Remember that our staff are real people and deserve to be treated with respect. If you're rude or abusive to our staff, we retain the right to refuse/refund your order.
Currently, our store remains open, with normal business hours and staff levels. Our entire 50+ team is fit and healthy. For the safety of our staff and customers;
- Keep a safe distance (1.5 metres) away from each other and staff
- Don't mingle
- We have a maximum limit of 100 customers in-store at any one time
- If you feel unwell (fever, cough, sore throat, etc) or if you have recently returned from overseas, STAY HOME! Give us a call, send us an email or start a live chat with our team via our website or Facebook/Instagram instead of coming in. As always, we’d be more than happy to help you out.
We’ve increased our regular disinfection strategy of the instruments on the floor, and have a disinfection fog machine for extra protection. Should you come in-store and want to test an instrument, we ask that you sanitise your hands before you do. Testing of any Brass & Woodwind instrument or microphone is being reduced until further notice.
Better Music reserves the right to ask in-store customers to leave the premises if they are showing signs of sickness.
Our online & warehouse teams continue to process orders, and we endeavour to dispatch them as quickly and safely as possible. We currently have no delays in processing orders.
If stock or shipments from suppliers arrive slower than expected due to the current situation, we thank you for your patience.
Our couriers, Australia Post, StarTrack, and TNT, are saying to expect deliveries to take an extra day longer than normal for delivery.
Victoria deliveries - Our couriers have indicated that shipments are still crossing the border even with the new closures in place.
As always, you'll receive order tracking in your email as soon as it leaves us!
Online – Click + Collect
Click & Collect is still currently available as normal, if you need it within 1 business day, it will be quicker to come in-store.
Our returns policy remains the same but we will not be flexible. Item(s) must be unopened, unused, in their original packaging, with all included accessories, if applicable, and must not be damaged in any way. Any product which has been opened/factory seal broken is NOT eligible for a refund or return. Read more here: Shipping & Returns
