Roland FP-30X Digital Piano

Easily in the top five at this price point is the Roland FP-30X. This model features Roland's PHA4 key action (the same action used in Roland’s more expensive home console pianos like the HP702).

The on-board sounds are hyper realistic for this price point and are always fun and inspiring to play. It also has a slimmer design than most and like all things Roland, is built like a brick surf club.

This model is amazing value for money and has everything you need and nothing you don’t!

Highly recommend.

Yamaha P-225B Digital Piano

Yamaha's P-225B is one of the biggest selling weighted action keyboards on the market and for good reason! The P-225 is a significant step up from Yamaha’s entry level P-145 and has an extensive set of features such as onboard recording, rhythms with accompaniment to play along with, increased number of onboard sounds and compatibility with Yamaha's LP1B triple pedal unit.

Yamaha’s GHS (Graded hammer standard) key action always feels great and the sounds are fantastic.

There’s not much else to say – it's a rock-solid performer and a classic for a reason.

ps. Also available in White!

Casio PX-S1100 Privia Portable Digital Piano

The PXS1100 is the entry model in Casio’s higher tier Privia family of keyboards.

It features Casio's super realistic ‘AiR’ sound engine that sounds phenomenal and easily competes with other keyboards many times the price.

The key action is surprisingly good - it’s amazing to have such good quality scaled hammer-action keys in such a slim (the world’s slimmest keyboard piano) and lightweight piano. It also has a striking modern design which looks super premium.

A staff favourite, we think Casio knocked it out of the park with this one.

Also available in White or Red.

Kawai ES120B Digital Piano

The Kawai ES series has always been hugely popular and with the newest addition, the ES120, Kawai have taken things to new heights.

The sounds on board are now even better, with more realism and detail than ever before. The key-action is personally a big favourite of our Pianos Manager (Jonathan) and hard to beat for the money.

Add to that enhanced Bluetooth connectivity and a new modern visual redesign, the ES120 makes a very compelling case for best option around $1k.

An awesome new model by a great company that makes exceptional digital (and acoustic) pianos. Much excite.

Also available in White.

If none of these take your fancy don't worry, there's plenty more where that came from!
