George Steck was a master craftsman & scientific acoustician with many of his ideas and manufacturing techniques still being used in pianos made today.
In 1903 the operation was expanded to London, Paris and Melbourne and eventually formed one of the largest piano manufacturers in the world.
In 2003 the company was acquired by Korean giant Sejung along with all the intellectual property, design patents & 150 years of piano making experience.
The grand tradition has continued but with the ability to make quality pianos more affordable. George Steck pianos are now exported to over 40 countries world-wide.
