Bremner SSHH Mute - Tenor Horn (SHTH)

It is a bit too big as it sticks out from the bell too far. Easily to fall out. Would have been better if they made it a bit slimmer and goes further down into the bell. It does make you play harder trying to get the air through that small hole at the end, but I am getting there with practice.

This mute is a game changer. It really is so quiet with very little back pressure and doesn't seem to alter the instrument's pitch. It is also very light. I can now confidentially play at any time, pretty much anywhere, without disturbing anyone. The only downside is that the mute is fairly bulky and sits proud of the bell, so won't fit in most horn cases for travelling. I wil primarily use it at home but I'm happy to carry it separately if the need arises. It's worth it! Appreciate the hassle-free ordering, package tracking and prompt delivery from Better Music.
